    Xcel Neoprene Wetsuit Tops

Xcel Neoprene Wetsuit Tops present great value transitional garments for surfing, swimming, diving and basically anything that'll get you wet. Sometimes it's just not cold enough for your wetsuit and in these times the best solution is a Neoprene Wetsuit Top, we carry a wide range of neo tops however here you will find all of our Xcel Wetsuit Tops for Men, Women and Kids.  Whether you're a surfer, paddler or diver there's always a place for a wetsuit top and we've found that laying a neoprene top over your wetsuit can create additional seal and inhibit water entering through the zip.

Neoprene Wetsuit tops are ideal for all surface water sports as they provide immense resistance to wind-chill. As a paddler, you're constantly getting dripped on by you or your crew's paddle blades and over time you will be saturated.  Wearing non-hydrophobic materials like cotton 'hold' water and over time will in-turn make you colder, due to wind-chill.

    Xcel Neoprene Wetsuit Top Features

    • Limestone Veoprene:Most Xcel wetsuit tops use a limestone based neoprene, as opposed to petroleum based poly-chloroprene. 100% Stretch factor with a smaller cell structure to increase warmth, stretch and limit water absorption compared to the butadiene method.
    • Smooth Skin or Lycra Jersey: the outside layer of an Xcel wetsuit top is typically lycra/nylon, which is the standard to most wetsuits products as it's durable and stretchy.  The Smooth-Skin alternative is a shiny, rubbery feeling coat that repels water, this makes it ideal for reducing wind-chill and it's wind-chill that most people buy a wetsuit top for.
    • Flatlock Seams: Most wetsuit tops come with a flatlock seam as it's the most durable choice.  Some wetsuit tops will come with a GBS seam but unlike a full-wetsuit, the use of GBS in a top is not to keep water out but it's used because GBS is far stretchier than Flatlock. Learn more here.
