Variants in kids face sizes do exist but mainly based upon age but as we all know, children's heads grow faster than the rest of the body. This means that the variation in mask size isn't as great as the rest of their body which means that most boys or girls faces are covered by 2 sizes, often 1 is enough.
A quality snorkel is one that has a 'purge' valve at the base of the snorkel, this allows your kids to 'clear' water from within the snorkel without having to force the water all the way out the top of the snorkel. For a grown-up, this might not seem like a big deal but it's one of two main factors in your child's snorkelling experience. The other is a well-fitting mask.

- Snorkel - a snorkel with a purge valve at the bottom will make it substantially easier for them to clear water out of the snorkel.
