Adrenalin 2P Thermals - Swim, Surf & Paddle Wear
Adrenalin 2P Thermals are designed for swim, surf and paddling, and relies on a technical poly-fleece materials to create a versatile thermal that is suited for Mens, Womens and kids to use out, on or in the water. Poly-fleece is inherently hydrophobic(allergic to water) which means that it can't actually get wet as we know it. The only moisture that will be retained by these thermal rash vests and pants is droplets that get stuck in the open-cell structure, which will drip out with movement and be wicked by the wind and air - making them dry rapidly.
Poly-fleece first started appearing in the wetty industry as internal linings to top of the line suits. Back then you'd typically look at spending hundreds of dollars to get a polyfleece lined torso panel. What the Adrenalin 2P Polyfleece Thermals provide is the ability to modulate your wetsuit lining and get more use out of your currently un-lined suit, when the water gets too cold.
The extremely stretchy nature of poly-fleece fibres further optimise these thermals for paddling applications because low-stretch makes it harder for you to make your paddle motion, therefore tiring you out faster. No one wants to be limited by their kit so make sure you get something stretchy! We often recommend coupling a long-sleeve thermal top with a sleeveless neoprene vest, that way your core is truly insulated without impinging on your paddle freedom.
Although it originated inside wet suits it was the application to paddle and surface water sports that saw the true explosion of poly-fleece water wear and today I don't know a SUP rider, canoeist or kayaker that doesn't swear by their polyfleece. Not just because they're warm but the inevitable paddle drips dry very quickly.

- 2P Technical Polyfleece: a hydrophobic (repels water) material that dries in a flash because it can't hold water. This provides protection against wind-chill where most rashies will actually make you colder because wind-chill is 25x more effective on a wet surface.
- 170% 4-Way Stretch: Adrenalin's 2P boasts significant levels of stretch and one touch of a 2P garment confirms that. 170% basically means that 1m of material can stretch to 1.7m without deformation - this level of stretch comfortably covers the entire range of human anatomy.
- Inner Fleece: a plush-inner lining completes the package by way of it's supple feel against the skin but it's not just for comfort as it assists in wicking water away from your skin.
- 50+ UPF Rating: TGA compliant ultraviolet protection factor, blocks at least 98% of radiation.
