Womens GBS Sealed Wetsuits
Womens Sealed Wetsuits are defined by having a sealed seam and are often refered to as Semi Dry Wetsuits. A sealed seam ensures no cold-water can enter the suit via the seam or it's surrounding stitch - you'll note the typical stitch used in a sealed seam is a blind stitch as a blind-stitch uses a hooked needle that creates no pinholes in the rubber.

The seam is an important aspect of a wetsuit as it's one of/the major factors in warmth, stretch and comfort: the two types of sealed seam are Glued and Blindstitch [GBS] and Taped/Welded. A seam can have a massive impact as seam type decides whether the suit lets in water or not and this is a BIG DEAL. A suit’s ability to keep you warm is decided by the seam and a good seam can get you out in the water all year round and for longer sessions, that’s why we wear a wetty, right?
