Boys Rashies
Boys Rashies are important for protecting the grommets from the sun, sand wind and whatever obscure substances they may manage to find, namely when they're wet or in the ocean. Most kids rashies are made of a lycra/spandex like material that is highly stretchy, allowing a tight and hydrodynamic fit. We carry Boys Rash Guards from leading brands such as Rip Curl, XCEL, Billabong, O'Neill, Peak, Adrenalin and more.
We've seen many microfibre/polyfleece/2P style rashies which are moderate insulators, nothing like neoprene but better than lycra - these make for ideal products for swimmers, for example when pool heating isn't enough in the winter. Some customers will buy a poly-fleece rash vest to wear on the inside of their suit to provide extra warmth and insulation.
In recent years there has been a big push towards loose or relaxed fit rashies, which fit like a shirt but are made out of stretchy synthetics - you can get a good idea of the fit from the images, just take a look.
