Men's Surfing Jackets
Mens Surfing Vests provide protection from the sun, rashing and rubbing while surfing as well as thermal retention. Because they're generally thinner than the average 3/2mm wetsuit they're also a little more flexible.
Neoprene jackets are made of a thicker rubber-like material; neoprene. Neoprene offers considerably more thermal retention than any thermal or rashie (which provides negligible warmth). This is thanks to this materials ability to trap water between itself and your skin which then warms up and acts as a layer of insulation. That's why getting the right fit is so important - if this layer keeps getting flushed out, you're not really going to benefit in terms of warmth.
