Mens Thermal Tops
Mens Thermal Tops provide protection from the sun, rashing and rubbing as well as moderate thermal protection without restricting movement and are great for swim or surf. Lightweight, quick-drying and versatile - our customers love these for the beach, surf and pool - even our scuba divers love wearing them as a basel-layer for the supple feel and extra warmth. Thermal tops are thicker and warmer then a rashie but are breathable, more flexible and thinner then a wetsuit top - in terms of touch and feel, poly-fleece thermals are a bit like tracksuit pants but with a water-resistant lycra outer layer and much more stretch.
With breathability comes versatility because, unlike a neoprene top, you can wear them on craft or on land without getting hot. This makes thermals ideal for supping, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, but realistically you can rock a thermal any time you'd run a rashie or a wetty top.
Thermals are designed to provide a layer of breathable insulation that helps the air wick moisture from the garment, because of this they are not as warm as a wetsuit top, which is a superb insulator - but unless you're constantly in and out of the water (think surfing, swimming, kayaking, falling off the sup) then you might not need that level of insulation.
